Meow, purr, purr. Hello, my name is SNUGGLES and I’m a handsome orange and cream dilute tabby. I was born in October of 2017, and my name truly fits me because I love to snuggle! I was living outside, and an Animal Control Officer picked me up and brought me to the Denton Shelter. The shelter vet checked me over and discovered that I had ear mites, fleas, and sadly, a ruptured eardrum. After being treated, I was placed in a shelter cage along with Giovanni, the kitten, and several other cats. Shortly thereafter, two kindhearted ladies from Animal Allies of Texas visited the shelter to rescue some of us. Being as outgoing as I am, I reached my paw through the bars so they would notice me. Well they did notice me, and they couldn’t leave the shelter without me and Giovanni! The volunteers are pleased to report that I am adjusting well to my temporary home at the PETCO store in Highland Village. I enjoying playing with the other cats there, and I adore being petted, scratched, and brushed. Although my balance is a little off, the vet is hopeful that I will be as good as new in a few short weeks. I’m ready to be my person’s best cuddle buddy! The volunteers believe that I would do well as an only cat, or with a family with a cat that is accepting and playful. I would also do well with children who are mature and patient with me. And if you or someone you know would like to make a huge difference in saving cats' and dogs' lives, please consider becoming a foster parent. We are ALWAYS looking for special people to become qualified Foster Parents. For more information on the Foster Program, please contact us at animalalliesoftexas.org.
