Bandit's Sponsorship Page

Hi, my name is Bandit and my brother's name is Smokey, which makes us "Smokey and The Bandit!"  I'm a grey tabby male cat with tiger stripes and white patches on my belly.  My brother and I were born in June of 2018, and our previous owner adopted us from the Lewisville shelter. We lived with three older cats, and we all got along well. Unfortunately, our owner surrendered Smokey and I when she had major back surgery and had to move to an apartment that only allowed 3 pets -- she had 5 cats. She was broken hearted to give us up, but she felt it was in our best interest. Although we miss her and the other cats, we remain hopeful that a wonderful family will either adopt the two of us together, or that you will fall in love with me and take me home! My owner loved it when I would reach out my paw towards her, barely touching her as I purred, then nuzzle or lick her earlobe as she pet me. I would sit in front of her and look her in the eye and she would say, "what is it Little Bandit?," and I would close my eyes slowly, then open my mouth and make the cutest "meow" sound. I really miss the time she spent with me. I adore Greenie's treats, running on a giant wheel, and will jump high in the air and do flips for treats!  My brother was adopted by a wonderful family!  I love my foster home with cats and dogs, but I still hope that I will one day have a permanent family of my own.  If you would like to meet me, please complete an on-line application and ask for me -- BANDIT -- and a compassionate volunteer will be in touch. By the way, if you or someone you know would like to become a foster parent for cats or dogs who are waiting to be adopted, please go to the Animal Allies of Texas Facebook page and inquire.
